David Dreyer -- a strategist, speechwriter, and media trainer -- works for TSD’s global and domestic clients. He has provided advice for the President of the Athens 2004 Olympic Committee, the Hon. Robert E. Rubin, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Eastern Orthodoxy, the Freedom to Travel (to Cuba) campaign, and the civic engagement project of the John F. Kennedy School.

Before joining TSD in 1997, David served as Deputy White House Communications Director for President Bill Clinton and as Senior Advisor to U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin. For fourteen years, David was a trusted advisor to Democratic Members of the U.S. Congress, including Senator Gary Hart, Majority Leader Richard Gephardt, and Majority Whip Tony Coelho.

Journalist Fred Barnes called David "one of Washington's most skillful speechwriters." In 1998 and 1999, David was featured in Fast Company Magazine's "Smart Pack" discussions, and in the magazine's "Idea Fest" 2003. He produced three, half-hour "town meetings" televised at the 2000 Democratic Convention in Los Angeles. David serves as a member of two advisory boards: for U.S. Newswire and for the New York Guitar Festival.

David Dreyer is a graduate of Hampshire College. Married to Elizabeth Vandivier, a librarian, they have four children: Alessandra, Erika Rose, Jesse, and Sam.
