Virgil Storr is TSD's Senior Technology Advisor. Virgil manages TSD’s IT infrastructure and IT support staff, acts as lead developer/designer on web application development projects and counsels clients on IT matters.

As a part of its communication consulting services, TSD often advises clients on technological developments in the communications arena and designs and delivers decision support systems and web sites to assist them in their communications efforts. Virgil has participated (as lead developer or project manager) in the development of IT solutions for a variety of TSD's clients including Microsoft Europe, The Trust for Early Education, Johns Hopkins University, Pfizer, the Athens 2004 Olympic Bid Committee, Clinton-Gore '96, the DNC, the Embassy of India, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas' Ministry of Health and the Arab-American Institute.

Virgil joined TSD in 1996 after attaining a BA in Economics and Management with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Beloit College. He also holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University. He is the author of Enterprising Slaves and Master Pirates: Understanding Economic Life in the Bahamas (New York: Peter Lang, 2004) and his writings in political economy have been published in the American Journal of Economics and Sociology and several other scholarly publications (see Dr. Virgil Storr's homepage).
